Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is a law firm based in Limassol, operating for over 30 years. We are currently seeking to hire a Corporate Lawyer to join our Corporate Department. The role involves handling daily legal processes and offering legal guidance on matters concerning corporate and commercial law.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Draft contracts, legal opinions, resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and oversee a variety of corporate transactions.
  • Communicate with the Registrar of Companies and other relevant governmental authorities.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, attend meetings, and provide practical and effective legal solutions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, banking institutions, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks in support of the firm’s commitment to lawful and ethical operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University Degree in Law
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar position
  • Speak and write fluently and professionally both in Greek and English
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates
  • Able to understand and participate in advanced corporate transactions.

This role provides valuable hands-on experience, allowing you to work alongside legal professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate legal practices. The position is offered under the Cyprus Bar Association’s Trainee Lawyer Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a team of experienced lawyers with day-to-day legal operations

Minimum Qualifications:

In this position you will be involved, among others, in the handling of claims and disputes arising from accidents, injuries, insurance coverage, liability issues, and compensation claims. We take professionalism and integrity seriously therefore we are looking for a strong candidate to support us meet the highest standards of our services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct Appearances and Hearings before all Courts, and other public authorities across Cyprus;
  • Work on the preparation of court cases or out-of-court disputes
  • Handl a portfolio of clients and undertake the ongoing communication with them in a timely manner and for their best benefit
  • Draft and review contracts, legal opinions, pleadings, written addresses and writing any other legal documents
  • Examine legal material and perform legal searches of related legislation or procedures in regards to related matters and cases.
  • Communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that they are progressed effectively.
  • Work closely with team members in the preparation, management, and progression of cases and client files.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University Degree in Law
  • Qualified Advocate and member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • Sufficient experience in Cyprus Civil Law litigation practices
  • Speak and write fluently and professionally both in Greek and English
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates
  • Maturity in handling confidential information
