Mary Loizidou obtained her LL.B. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in February 2020.
She joined Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC in September 2020 as a Trainee Lawyer and, following the successful completion of her traineeship and the Cyprus Bar Association examinations, was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2021. She currently practises as a Lawyer in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mary advises and represents local and international clients in civil and commercial matters, with experience in employment law, administrative law, contract law, inheritance and probate matters, corporate disputes and complex commercial litigation.
Her practice includes complex and strategically significant disputes, high-value claims, multi-party proceedings and matters requiring urgent court intervention. She has experience appearing before the District Courts and the Supreme Court of Cyprus and is involved in all stages of litigation, including pleadings, legal submissions, hearings and applications for interim and interlocutory relief.
In 2022, Mary became an Accredited Mediator for Civil and Commercial Disputes and, in 2023, successfully completed the Arbitrator Training Programme offered by the Cyprus Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Limassol (UoL), further developing her commercial awareness and understanding of business matters.
